PRIMARY PURPOSE :
This position is responsible for overall coordination of Risk Management and Safety data and analytics.
Duties include but are not limited to injury and accident tracking and all associated record-keeping, trend analysis reporting, management of 3 rd party databases and contract management support.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by adhering to policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
Conducts complex trend analyses geared toward reducing accidents and injuries and provide root cause and corrective actions to enhance safety awareness and accident reduction.
This includes filtering and cleaning raw data by reviewing primary and secondary sources to locate and correct errors in data entry and identifying incident trends and hazards.
Acts as the primary contact for safety data collection, record-keeping and trend analysis.
Performs monthly OSHA Recordkeeping, TRIR and maintains OSHA 300,301, 300A logs.
Acts as Liaison with Federal, state and local Departments of Labor for incident-based and annual reporting purpose to facilitate compliance with annual, and serious injury/fatal reporting requirements to the associated Federal, state and local reporting authorities, including web Single Sign On (SSO) Prepares complex analytical reports related to leading and lagging indicators of safety performance that support internal and external customers, by informing internal and external stakeholders of incident trends and hazards.
Identifies and implements data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies for optimum statistical efficiency and quality; improving existing data collection systems by identifying efficiencies associated with decreasing time required for data entry.
Conducts Loss Control Audits.
Supports accident investigations by preparing analytic reports, and identifying key factors.
Analyzes incident data and evidence to write, rewrite and edit incident investigation reports in order to ensure accurate Key Factors and Root Cause determination of incidents are performed, system-wide hazards are identified, and corrective actions implemented.
Track all incidents, accidents and injuries maintaining both current and historical records.
Manage all 3 rd party databases (e.
g.
ISN Networld, Browz) providing support to Safety, Risk Management and Sales.
Develop/Source incident management system, implement, and train and manage system.
Liaison with 3 rd Party Injury Management Providers.
Track cases to completion, reconcile invoices and provide monthly performance metrics.
Manage Risk and safety library containing policies, procedures, standards and historical records.
Develop, implement and manage a document control program involving policies, procedures and standards.
Support Contract Administration Department as it relates to Safety and compliance terms and conditions.
Carries out special projects and assignments as requested by management.

Salary:
