Engineer III - Network Operation

Job ID:18003992 Job Description: Individuals within the Infrastructure Engineer role are responsible for the operations of secure and highly available computing platforms, servers, storage, and networks. They, install, maintain, upgrade, and continuously improve the operating environment. They also maintain the ongoing reliability, performance and support of the infrastructure. This includes monitoring the operating environments; responding to incidents, problems and planning for growth. Individuals in this job family are also responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of the data center.  Job Responsibilities: Takes a lead role in serving on teams in clearly defining, with the customer, more complex requirements, deliverables and time frames. Escalate issues and make recommendations to resolve them to the appropriate audience. Takes a lead role conducting more complex root cause analysis to identify and resolve complex problems impacting IT Infrastructure. Takes a lead role to develop and/or deliver technical training in complex technical areas. May mentor less experienced team members in the execution of their duties. Takes a lead role in completing more complex project tasks to enable the on time, within budget and scope delivery of IT Infrastructure projects.  Assure compliance to required standards, procedures, guidelines and processes. Other duties as assigned or requested. Desired Qualifications/Education/Experience: Relevant engineering and / or planning experience in areas including Cisco UCS, Netapp, Nexus, Monitoring, VMware, Veeam, NetBackup, Database (MySql & Oracle), Configuration Management.  Systems Administration skills: Windows, Linux (CentOS and Redhat), & Solaris Scripting languages: Bash Scripting and Python Job Requirements Minimum Qualifications:  College degree and 2-4 years related experience or 6 + years equivalent related Engineering/Technical experience or a combination of education and related Engineering/Technical experience required. This job requires the ability to work as a team member.  Additionally, this job requires the willingness and ability to report to work on a regular and timely basis and may require occasional irregular work hours, holidays and/or weekends. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
